Each year Alpha Xi Delta puts on a Battle of the Bands to benefit the local Ronald
McDonald House Charities.

3RD ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BANDS
Bands included Family Tree, Control Council, A Steady Silence, Behind White
Lies, Subject to Change, Angel All Fire, and Duburbia.
Sponsors included Have a Nice Day Cafe, Audio, Light, and Musical (AL&M), Hall Nissan,
A&B Auto Parts, Kincaids, and Liberty Tax.
Gift Certificates and prizes were given away throughout the night.
The show was at Have a Nice Day Cafe located inside the Waterside Shopping Center that can hold up to
1000 people. Ages 18 and up were welcome to attend.
Ronald McDonald House Charities is a local home away from home for families who must stay in Norfolk
for an extended period of time because of a sick child in the hospital. It is located on Colley Ave and Alpha Xi Delta frequently
stops by to cook residents dinner.
Alpha Xi Delta is a national sorority at Old Dominion University. Last year they raised over $2,000
with Battle of the Bands and was the number one fundraiser for charity out of all ODU's Greek population. This year we raised
over $3,000!!!!
